The location here is just stunning, and the staff are super friendly! 😊

The building is very interesting - part old structure, part modern design. The room was nice and had an espresso machine for the mornings and had a variety of sattelite channels. The breakfast was lovely and very relaxing. We stayed at this hotel for our visit to Basel, just over the border and walked in, but there are also buses available. Grocery store and restaurants/bakeries close by.

The water pressure in the shower was bad, despite the brand new/modern design of the bathroom. It became rather cold during our stay and the heat would not turn on, so it ended-up being quite cold in the room, but at least the blankets were very warm. Many people were complaining the next day about the cold and so the hotel was calling a repairman. One morning the water was shut down unexpectedly because of construction for a short time. We ran our of toilet paper and tissues and the cleaning staff did not re-stock so we had to ask for it and then a staff member brought up one roll of tp and about 6 tissues in her hand and that was it. This was surprisingly strange service, we thought. Some of the staff were friendlier than others. In short, there are some growing pains with this newly opened hotel.

We enjoyed the clean,spacious rooms and the style of the decor and furnishings. .The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was just great. The spa was not open at the time we were there which was a bit disappointing.

We were a bit uncomfortable with the clear bathroom doors which allowed anyone in the room to see directly into the bathroom. The toilet was not even screened from sight which could be very awkward for many people.

The restaurant was very nice with an interesting menu offering delicious dishes. the location was perfect and the staff members were attentive.

This hotel does not have a restaurant and does not serve breakfast if you have to be up early before 6.30 and catch a flight. The room was more about design than functionality.

The staff was exceptionally helpful with every request. the location is comfortable and convenient, just a 5-minute walk into town.

The design, furnishings and size of the room were modern and comfortable. The room was quiet. The breakfast was quite reasonable. For a business trip we might consider staying here again, but not for a holiday stay.

The sofa bed for our daughter was lumpy and uncomfortable. The elevator was extremely small/tight and creaked at every floor. The staff was not very pleasant; they were reluctantly helpful.

We spent twice a night befor and after a flight. Everything was eccellent,in spring 2012 a restaurant will open in the building ! We wait for that.The only matter we could not understand is the price politique. For two adult in a roomwe payd Euro 99.--, my son in a room alone payd Euro 89.-- Something went wrong.We told the management. A very comfortable place to stay.

The quality of the finishing of the hotel is eccellent, colours etc.Good breakfast and very polite staff.

This venue is extremely comfortable and conveniently located near the airport and tram stop for easy access to downtown Basel.

Nice, new, clean hotel with modern decor & facilities. Staff were friendly & helpful. Rooms double glazed so no road noise & quiet air-con units within the rooms. Good location.

The mattresses were extremely hard & led to an achey, uncomfortable night's sleep.

I truly enjoyed this nicely decorated and lovely welcoming place, stayed there for 1 night. The food was amazing with variety of choice! I was upgraded to a contemporary double room with many books around. The check in was easy, the staff was excellent and efficient.

The place met our criteria, providing a perfect stay during our European road trip.

While not as nice as in the pictures of Booked.net, the room was nicely decorated and reasonably comfortable. The parking, just opposite, was convenient.

When we arrived, we were told that our booking was not registered. After looking in her computer and in several folders, the person at the reception found out that her colleague had registered the booking for a different date. When we finally thought that the misunderstanding was over, she said that the booking had been cancelled. I showed her the printout of the booking confirmation, and she had to look at her folders again to find out that the cancellation she was referring to was not related to this booking. All quite unsettling when one just arrives from a long trip, with a small kid, and no apology was offered. We finally got a room... The room (double room with a sofa bed) was smaller and much darker than the pictures in Booked.net in fact it only had a tiny window. Despite of having the heating at the maximum, the room as well as the bathroom were still cold. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable as to be unusable. Fine as a sofa, but just useless as a bed. Our small son had to sleep in our double bed (which was good and large enough). The breakfast was average. Nice cheeses, but fruit salad from a tin, limited bread choice, etc. At departure, they want to charge us for our three year old son as an extra person, when the conditions in Booked.net say that small kids do not pay when using existing bedding (this was a double room with an additional sofa bed = 3 beds). I did not let it go, and this was removed from the bill. I cannot comment on the jacuzzi and sauna because we did not use them.
